Interesting reference to my hometown from this San Francisco blog. Thanks to my bro for the link.

Catholic Radio in San Francisco

Is that link even working still? Didn't work for me just now. Here's the main blog link, I tried to link to the entry.

What's so Funny?

Saturday, February 09, 2008

Some pictures from my Calhoun speed walk this week. Just for fun, kind of dreary looking though. My crappy camera really doesn't handle that light level very well. It was actually a brighter day than these pics imply.

Proof that it was 25 degrees, mmm, not too bad, perfect day for a walk. Though it got a little cold on the back third. Only about twenty other people out this day that I saw.

I wish I had a better camera to capture this Jacob's Ladder. It looked really cool. This is from the Lake Street bridge on Calhoun, by the boat rentals.

Mpls skyline from the one cleared walking path.

Standing on frozen Lake Calhoun pretty much right in the middle on the West side, only about ten feet in, I'm a wuss. Facing South and slightly East, towards Lake Harriet.

Ahh, Winter Driving on Franklin Ave. Heading West toward Rudy's.
